Remarks (internal):The genus Boidinia is a satellite genus of Gloeocystidiellum and differs from the latter in forming loose texture in subiculum and globose, echinulate to verrucose basidiospores. Four species are included in this genus (Hjortstam and Ryvarden, 1988), but there have been no record from Japan. In the present study, B. furfuraceum is added to the flora of Japanese corticiaceous fungi.
