Abstract:This paper is the sixth in a series documenting the Entolomataceae taxa (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) from Guyana. Six species are described - the West African Nolanea acuta, a new combination, is reported for the first time from the Neotropics, and Nolanea alboproxima, N. applanata, N. clavata, N. concentrica, and N. subsulcata are new to science. All of these species occur in tropical rainforests of the Upper Potaro River Basin in GuyanaÂ’s Pakaraima Mountains. Macromorphological, micromorphological, and habitat data are provided for each, along with comparisons with allied taxa. Nolanea has not been previously reported from Guyana.
