Abstract:Xerocomus cyaneibrunnescens sp. nov., Xerocomus potaroensis sp. nov., and Xerocomus parvogracilis sp. nov. (Boletaceae, Basidiomycota) are described for the first time from the Pakaraima Mountains of Guyana. These boletes occur in forests dominated by ectomycorrhizal (ECM) trees in the genus Dicymbe (Fabaceae subfam. Caesalpinioideae). Each species regularly produced basidiomata during a multi-year plot survey, and each has been confirmed via molecular methods as an ECM symbiont with several leguminous hosts in Guyana.
