Leaf spots amphigenous, circular to irregular, 1.5-8.0 mm in diam., sometimes confluent, center greyish white, pale brown to brown, margin brown, dark brown to blackish, sometimes purple or the whole spots reddish brown, purplish brown to blackish on the upper surface, yellowish brown to brown on the lower surface.
Fruiting amphigenous, but more abundant on the upper surface. Mycelium immersed. Stromata globular, olivaceous brown to dark brown, 15.0-50.0 µm in diam. Conidiophores densely fasciculate, pale olivaceous to olivaceous, uniform in color and width, straight to curved or undulate, not branched, not geniculate or slightly geniculate, conic at the apex, not septate, 7.5-35.0 x 2.5-4.0 µm. Conidia narrowly linear to obclavate, subhyaline to pale olivaceous, straight to curved, subacute to obtuse at the apex, obconically truncate to subtruncate at the base. indistinctly 3-13 septate, 25.0-100.0 x 2.0-3.0 µm.
