Remarks (internal):Entoloma chlorophyllum is very similar in shape of the fruitbody with E. pleopodium, from which is differs in more intensely green-coloured pileus, greenish lamellae, and large cheilocystidia.

Pileus 15-27 mm broad, truncate-campanulate with slight Central depression and sometimes with small papilla, with slightly involute margin, weakly hygrophanous, when moist olivaceous-greenish with slightly darker centre, slightly pallescent on drying, not translucently striate, minutely radially fibrillose with whitish pruinum at centre, somewhat dull or shining. Lamellae distant, thickish, ventricose, 3-5 mm broad, adnate with small decurrent tooth, pale olivaceous-green. Stipe 50 x 2-4 mm, cylindrical with abruptly bulbous base up to 6 mm wide, olivaceous-brown at apex, downwards more brown, flucculose at apex, downwards densely covered with silvery fibrils, often twisted, white tomentose at base. Context dark olivaceous-brown when moist, palleseent on drying. Smell absent. Taste not recorded.
Spores (8.5-)9-10.5 x 7-8(-8.5) µm, Q = 1.2-1.4, 5-6-angled in side-view, with pronounced angles, with dihedral base. Basidia 4-spored, clamped. Lamella edge heterogeneous. Cheilocystidia 50-85(-140) x 10-18 µm, cylindrical-flexuose with subcapitate apex to slenderly lageniform-tibiiform, numerous, but mixed with basidia. Pileipellis a cutis of 6-21 µm wide cylindrical or inflated hyphae. Pigment intracellular and parietal in pileipellis and upper pileitrama, no incrustations seen. Clamps frequent in hymenium, less frequent or absent in other tissues.
Habitat: in humus in garden; oct.
Distribution: only known from the type-locality.
