Pileus up to 10 mm broad, conical to conico-convex, with or without distinct papilla, never umbilicate, with straight margin, not hygraphanous, not translucently striate, dark blackish blue, coarsely radially fibrillose, centre squamulose. Lamellae, L = 6-8, l = 0-1, distant, emarginate-adnate, white then pink with concolorous, entire edge. Stipe 20-40 x 1 mm, cylindrical, almost concolorous with pileus or paler and more brightly blue, smooth or subfibrillose, base white tomentose. Smell indistinct. Taste not known.
Spores 6.5-8.5 x 5.5-6.0 µm, Q = 1.1-1.3-1.4, 5-6-angled in side-view. Basidia 4-spored, clamped. Lamella edge fertile. Cystidia absent. Pileipellis a trichoderm of cylindrical to slightly inflated hyphae, up to 19 µm wide. Pigment blue, intracellular. Clamps abundant.
Habitat: terrestrial in mixed forest.
Distribution: unknown, so far only known from Scandinavia, but likely to be overlooked. Sept.
