Description:Cladosporium chlamydosporis sp. nov., in Matsushima (1975), p. 34.
Descr In CMA: Coloniae plus minusve tarde crescentes, tenues, pallide brunnea, margine diffusae. Hyphae vegetativae hyalinae vel pallide brunneae, 0.8-2 µm latae. Conidiophora dispersa, solitaria, erecta, simplicia, continua vel 1-2-septata, usque ad 30 µm longa, supra basin 2.5-3.5 µm lata, sub parte fertili 1.5-2 µm lata, apice sympodialiter successive prolifera denticulata, modice fuliginea sursum pallescentia. Conidia brevi-catenata (2-3 in catena), elliptico-cylindrica, (0-) 1- septata, 7-13 x 1.5-2.5 µm, subhyalina, pallide brunnea in massa; ramoconidia 11-17 x 2-3 µm; ut in toto penicillum laxum formantia. Chlamydosporae terminaliter lateraliterve in hyphis vegetativis formatae, clavatae, 1-7-cellulares, constrictae ad septa, fuligineae, (8-) 10-43 x 5.5-8 µm. Agaro ucroso solanaceo (on potato sucrose agar): Coloniae plus minusve tarde crescentes, margine restrictae, velutinae, brunneo-albae, a tergo visa brunneo-atrae.
