Remarks (internal):Nester fungus carpatorossicus probabiliter cum Cyphella muscigena Fries. identicus est. Forma sporarum admodum variat. In speciminibus ex una nostra localitate commemorata pro parte f ere globosas vel globoso-pyriformes 4-4.5x3-3.2 µm. vel usque cylindraceo-ellipsoideas 7-10x2.5-3 µm. etiam in uno preparato microscopico observavi. Donk in Meeded. Myc. Ver. 18-20, p. 132 sporas pro Cyphellam muscigenam Fr. 4.5-5 x 2.9-3.5 µm. indicat. Pilát in Annal. Mycol., 22:213: „eiförmig, an der Basis zugespitzt, 8-9x5-6 µm." Rea (in Brit. Basid.): "pip-shapet or broadly obovate and apiculate at the attenuated base, 9-10x6 µm." Bourdot et Galzin (in Hymen. de France, p. 158): „oblongues, 7.5-9-12 x 4.5-6 µm."

Description:Cyphella muscigena Fries
Carposomatibus conchoideis, saepe lateraliter in stipitem attenuatis, dorso vel stipite laterali, tenui, distincto 5-8 mm longo, 0.5 mm crasso ad muscos majores insidentibus. Pileis plus minusve rotundatis, margine involutis, 2-12 mm diam, tenuiter membranaceis, albis, superficie albo-tomentosis usque glabris laevibusque, subtus hymenio albo vel cremeo, laevi vel paulisper reticulato instructis. Basidiis hyalinis, 20-30 x 4-5.5 µm. Sporis forma valde variantibus e globoso-piriformi usque cylindraceo-ellipsoideis, 4-10 x 2.5-3.5 µm.
Ad vivos muscos majores: Pogonatum aloides, Polytrichum juniperinum, Dicranella heteromala, Hypnum sp. div. etc. ?echoslovakia-Carpatorossia, in valle JavornÀ­k prope Trebušany, VIII.-1935, in magna multitudine. Specimina in herb. Mus. Nat. Pragae No. 35575.
