Description:Bidenticula Deighton, 1972, Trans. Br. mycol. Soc. 59: 425-427.
Colonies effuse, pale greyish or olivaceous brown. Mycelium partly superficial, partly immersed. No true stroma but pseudostromatic masses of swollen hyphae are seen in substomatal cavities. Setae and hyphopodia absent. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, solitary, arising from superficial hyphae, alternately branched, flexuous, often geniculate, rather pale brown or olivaceous brown, smooth. Conidiogenous cells polyblastic, integrated, terminal and intercalary, sympodial, cylindrical, denticulate; denticles in pairs, small, subcylindrical. Conidia usually somewhat curved, fusiform, hyaline, smooth, thin-walled, multiseptate.
