Pileus maturitate siccus, glaber vel tenuiter coactus, albus, deinde brunnescens vel nigrescens; trama crassa, rigida, alba, secta rubescens primo, deinde nigrescens, sapore acri vel mite; lamellae angustae vel latiusculae, adnexo-adnatae vel decurrentes, confertae vel subdistantes, pallido-luteae, fuscantes; lamellulae numerosae; stipes glaber, albus, deinde nigrescens, obtritus primo rubescens, deinde nigrescens; sporae in cumulo albase, 7.7-10.8 x 6.5-9 µm, ornamentatione 0.1-0.5 (-0.7) µm alta, raro verrucarum separatarum, plerumque verrucoso-reticulata; cuticula pilei 27-150 µm crassa, ex hyphis 1-8 (-20) µm latis ad libram jacentibus, hyphis oleiferis nullis, constans.
