Description:Russula emeticicolor J. Schaeffer, subspecies vel variatio sensu proprio Russulae lilaceae Quélet.
Typo minor, tenuis, mollis. Pileo constanter laete rubro, paene cinnabarino sicut in Russ. emetica, in medio saepe atrato, numquam lilaceo vel vinaceo vel carnicolori, pellicula post pluvias viscosa, mox sicca, sine nitore, (paene) tota detrahibili, nonnumquam minutissime areolata, plerumque hic illic conspicue albo floccata, margine rotundato, saepius late regulariter sulcato. Lamellis diu candidis, postremo albocremeis, antice latis ventricose rotundatis, acie nonnumquam rosea. Stipite albo, raro hic illic roseo vel rubro, primitus ± floccato vel pubescente, curto, molli, mox ± cavo. Carne albida, molli, pondere levi, chemice normaliter reagente, ab initio suavissima odore leviter pomoso (cuticula in detrahendo vel lamellis terendo). Sporis subglobosis, minus isolate verrucosis. Cystidiis quam in tipo frequentioribus, magis emergentibus, magisque in Sulfovanillina caerulescentibus. Epicute pilei sine cystidiis, hyphis irregulariter incrassatis et interrupte articulatis contexta.
