Description:Russula fuliginosa Sarnari
Pileo carnoso, 50-100 (110) mm lato, e pulvinato depresso, cute uvida, nitente, tactu propere umbrino, cinereo, maculis cremeis, deinde fuligineo. Lamellis angustis, falciformibus. Stipatissimis, lamellulis permultis, albidis, tactu nigrescentibus. Stipite robusto, 40-60 x 16-28 mm, cylindrato, superne parum dilatato, inferne vix intumescente, aliquando ad basim perforato rugosoque, eo ipso nigrescente. Carne in juventute subdura, alba, dein nigrescente, numquam rubescente. Sapore tantum in lamellis acri. Sporis in cumulo albidis, obovoideis, 7,2-8,8 x 5,6-7 µm, verruculis usque ad 0,4 µm altis, e subcristulatis connexis, plus minusve reticulatis. Basidiis tetrasporis, 39-52 x 8-11 µm. Cystidiis fusiformibus, x 6-9 µm. Pilis in epicute vulgo cylindratis, obtusis, 3-5-7 µm latis, dermatocystidiisque capitulatis vel bifidis, in SBA nigrescentibus. Habitatione sub frondosus. Holotypus sub Quercu cerris prope "Camerata" (TR), 25-6-92 lectus; in Herb. IB conservatur, no 92/454.
