Description:Pileus up to 50 mm in diameter, convex and distinctly umbilicate at maturity, ochre-coloured or yellow-ochraceous, distinctly fading with age, with abundant and fine squamules. Lamellae first whitish, turning creamy-pink later. Stipe up to 70 x 5 mm, hollow, lighter than the pileus, smooth or slightly pruinose. Spores heterodiametrical, with (5)-6-(7) angles, 8.4-11.5 x 5.9-7.7 µm, Xm = 9.9 x 6.8 µm, Q = 1.2-1.7, Qm = 1.47. Basidia tetrasporic, clampless. Cystidia absent. Pileipellis with abundant vacuolar pigment, brown. Clamps absent.
