Remarks (public):The external morphology and microscopic details of the presently worked out collection match with the details given for Agaricus abruptibulbus Peck by Freeman (1979b), Møller (1952), Phillips (2001-2013), except that cheilocystidia are absent in our collection whereas cheilocystidia are abundant in A. abruptibulbus and spores are comparatively smaller in size in present collection varying from 5.07-5.91 x 4.22-5.07 µm rather than 5.07-6.76 (7.6) x 3.38-4.22 (5.07) µm in A. abruptibulbus, thus, taking into consideration the above a new variety Agaricus abruptibulbus var. nullicystidiatus var. nov. is proposed.
