Description:Late-appearing, medium-sized agaric, characterised by a glutinous to sticky olivaceous-grey to charcoal-grey pileus, distant, arcuate cream-coloured lamellae becoming yellowish with age and a fleeting, white membranous-cortinoid veil, leaving an annular zone on the stipe with glutinous darkening bands below. Context white. Spores 8–11 × 6–7.5 μm (Qm = 1.39). Short, 5–12 µm wide gelatinous hyphae present in the mediostratum and hypophyllum of the hymenial trama. Associated with Pinus brutia and P. halepensis in the Mediterranean region.
