 Remarks:Agaricus (Clitocybe); Cooke, Handbook Brit, Fung. ed. 2 gave a ref. to Berkeley & Broome, but also to t. 264, labeled Agaricus (Collybia) cyanophaeus Fries var. pengellyi Penzance, so without authority hence suggesting Cooke as author. This is earlier (June) than Berkeley & Broome 1883, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist. V, 12: 370 (December). (Collybia) is obviously erroneous for (Clitocybe). Later 1883, text) Cooke give authority to Berkeley & Broome, which is accepted here.
