 Remarks:Boletus paulae is distinguish by the deep red , red , vinaceus red to raspberry pileus, pores are orange when mature, stipe furfuraceous, vinaceus red conspicuos flakes and context witish to pink colour with reddish tones, bluish when exposed and by the size of spores. This species belongs to sect. Luridi by its red colour of hymenophore in young specimens. Boletus bicolor var. borealis A.H. Sm. & Thiers is a similar species but has a smooth stipe and larger spores (11–15 x 4–5 um).
