	The new MycoBank discussion forum has been launched today (August 14th 2012). It will allow MycoBank users to discuss fungal taxonomy issues or any related matters. One can access it by clicking on the Forum menu The system is organized in Groups of discussion that contain Topics. People can react on Topics by posting text messages called Posts. Any registered user can vote in favor of or against Topics or Posts. Discussions (Topics or Posts) can be created or added by any registered MycoBank user. Groups of discussion can only be initiated by MycoBank curators but anyone can certainly contact us to suggest new discussion Groups. To follow some Topics or Posts, one can either come back to the website on a regular basis or subscribe to one or several Topics or Posts of interest and be warned by email when a new Post is deposited. For the moment, we’ve only created four discussion Groups related to the “one fungus which name” (1F=?N) problematic since this is the “hot topic” in systematic mycology at the moment. The yeasts community has launched a number of Topics dealing with the choice of the anamorphic and teleomorphic genera.
